Tequila Mockingbird - Rhys Ford

As good as expected. Tristan James is still an amazing narrator - I love how he has a unique tone for each character, and especially his Irish accent. Connor's struggles to accept his bisexuality felt realistic, but not too forced.

(he accepted it with surprising ease after the talk with his dad)

The mystery was fast-paced and exciting, although I was astonished why the characters kept putting themselves in danger (staying at/going back to the cafe).

One thing that bothered me, though, was that the circumstances of killing Frank (inviting the police to the place) were never explained - it doesn't make sense to me, even knowing the bad guy was crazy. What did he want? To kill some of the police officers as well?

I'm waiting for the next book already (with Quinn as the MC, it seems, yay!), but I hope I'll have the strength to wait for the audiobook.
