Stalking Darkness - Lynn Flewelling

This series is good classic fantasy (with the exception that the MCs' romantic interests are broader than normal - but the romance is rather in the background and there's no on-page sex). In this book, events moved quicker and there was more action than in the first part of the series, which was a bit slow-going. I loved how the relationship between the two MC's developed slowly (okay, realllly slowly), and while the events in this book were quite hard to read about (after all, saving the world isn't easy or painless), it was still very engaging and hard to stop listening. The narration was also enjoyable, but even so, I think I'm going to read the next books in the series, not get the audiobooks - it's just good to have the option to skim some more descriptive parts, if I'm dying to see what happens next.
