Winter's Bees - E.E. Ottoman

The book definitely had an interesting starting point - for once, the traditionally pretty person was in unrequited love with the "ugly" one. Overall, I quite liked the characters - they were quite honest with each other and it was clear that they both wanted the other to be happy and were willing to sacrifice their own happiness for that. Based on their good communication in the beginning, I was quite disappointed when there came a period of stupidity and miscommunication - it so annoys me when characters are being idiots...

I also liked the ending, but it took a really long time to get there, and it was a pity that the story ended so soon - I would've liked to see a bit more of their wedded bliss, if you know what I mean. ;)

(show spoiler)

Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but I've seen better from this author, so I think 3,5 stars is about right. :)
