His Holy Bones - Ginn Hale Fantastic world-building, fascinating story, lots of action, interesting characters, slow-building romance - this is a great series. The non-linear storytelling (the story jumps forward and backward in time) means that for the first several books, you don't really understand what's going on, but then the picture slowly starts to make sense - although the last pieces won't fall into place until in the last part. It's fun to try to figure things out, but the only problem is that now that I've finished, I'd like to read the whole thing again, so I could appreciate it from the beginning... Sadly, since my to-read-pile is already too big, I'll set it aside for now - but I'm sure it's worth a re-read some day. :)
