Special Forces (Special Forces, #1-3)

Special Forces (Special Forces, #1-3) - Aleksandr Voinov, Marquesate, Vashtan

A great, very emotional series. I'm glad I didn't stop reading after the cruel and violent beginning (I did put the book away for a couple of days, but thanks to all the positive reviews, picked it up again). Lots of time spent in tears, but also (especially during the later books) grinning happily. During the harsher parts, I had to take breaks from time to time and read some lighter things, but always returned quickly. I really loved that the series dealt with 25 years of the main characters' lives, showing the changes in the characters and in their relationship. And what a great ending... :) Off to the spin-offs!Edit: Damn, a month after finishing this series, I happen upon a review that cites the story of the lion and the tiger, and I suddenly have tears in my eyes again...
